Solano, NUEVA VIZCAYA — Saint Mary’s University (SMU) is celebrating yet another triumphant moment as one of its nursing graduates, Charenze Myrrhianee Faith Pinkihan Bahingawan, secured the coveted Top 10 position in the November 2025 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE). With an impressive 92.00% rating, she joins the official list of Top 10 PNLE Passers 2025, earning recognition not only for herself, but also for the entire Marian community which has long been regarded as one of the best nursing schools in the Philippines.
Her remarkable performance places SMU once again in the national spotlight as a leading nursing institution in Northern Luzon, strengthening its reputation for producing compassionate, competent, and globally competitive Filipino nurses.
A Topnotcher’s Journey Built on Love, Faith, and Unwavering Support
In an emotional and heartfelt message, Bahingawan shared what powered her success. Her words, genuine, simple, and moving, captured the spirit of every aspiring Filipino nurse who dreams of passing the PNLE.
“I did it for love and out of love. I am deeply grateful for passing and even topping (Top 10) the recently conducted Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination. This achievement is not mine alone; it is the product of the love, support, and guidance of the important people in my life,” she said.
She spoke candidly about her faith, recalling one of the most touching moments before the exam.
“Before the exam, I prayed, ‘Lord, please isabit mo name ko sa topnotchers, pakisiksik mo na’ 😆—and You granted it. Thank You, Lord. All glory to You!”
Her gratitude extended to every corner of her life: her parents, her entire family, her review buddies who pushed through despite the temptation to sleep, her friends who kept her sane during the most stressful nights, her instructors who shaped her professionalism, and her alma mater which built the foundation of her nursing identity.
“To my batchmates, we made it! Congratulations to us all. To my instructors and now colleagues, thank you for shaping me into the professional I am becoming,” she added.
She also thanked Toprank Review Academy, especially the lecturers and the team at the TRA Nueva Vizcaya branch, as well as the priests and prayer communities that supported her. “This accomplishment is as much yours as it is mine. I am truly blessed. To God be all the glory!”

SMU Nursing Continues a Legacy of Excellence with 100% Passing Rate
Beyond the individual triumph, SMU has another monumental reason to celebrate. The Saint Mary’s University Nursing Department achieved a perfect 100% passing rate in the November 2025 PNLE, marking its second consecutive year of maintaining this exceptional performance.
This rare academic feat reinforces SMU’s position as one of the most consistently outstanding nursing schools in the Philippines, especially in Northern and Central Luzon. Every graduate from the program passed the board exam—an achievement few institutions can claim, making it highly notable in discussions on “top performing nursing schools in PNLE 2025” and “best nursing institutions in the Philippines.”
The university credits this success to its rigorous curriculum, its dedicated faculty, and the relentless determination of its students who embody the Marian core values of excellence, service, and compassion.
A Win for the Marian Community and Nueva Vizcaya
For the people of Nueva Vizcaya, this milestone is more than an academic statistic. It is a symbol of local pride and a testament to the growing reputation of the province as a hub for quality healthcare education. Bahingawan’s achievement contributes to the rising visibility of Vizcaya-based institutions in national board exam results, proving that excellence is not limited to Metro Manila or urban centers.
Students, parents, alumni, and community members flooded SMU’s social media pages with congratulatory messages, celebrating this milestone as if it were their own. Many noted that achievements like these inspire future nursing students in the region, motivating them to pursue their dreams despite the challenges.
A Story of Faith, Perseverance, and the Future of Nursing
As the healthcare landscape evolves and demand for skilled nurses grows globally, stories like Bahingawan’s resonate deeply. They remind Filipinos that success is built not only on academic competence, but also on strong family support, personal discipline, and unwavering faith.
Her narrative reflects the journey of thousands of aspiring nurses who battled through sleepless nights, mental stress, and emotional exhaustion just to reach the finish line. And now, she stands as a testament to what a young Filipina nurse can achieve with dedication and heart.
Bahingawan now joins the roster of exceptional Marian nurses who are ready to serve communities, in hospitals, clinics, schools, and even across the globe. With the quality of training she received and the values she holds, many believe she is destined for even greater accomplishments in the field of nursing and healthcare.
